Paul Simonon will surprise us with exceptional hits, classics of all times and current ones. A musical journey that goes from the sounds of the Jamaican Dub to Rock n'Roll, passing through the Parisian beat girls, the garage and the soul of the north.
The artist and musician Paul Simonon is known as the bassist of the iconic punk band The Clash and the musical collective The Good The Bad & The Queen. Together with Mick Jones he formed The Clash in 1976. The group released six albums including The Clash, London Calling and Combat Rock, and although at the forefront of punk, they went further embracing genres such as reggae, dub, funk, jazz and hip hop, winning both commercial success and criticism.
After The Clash, Simonon returned to painting and founded the Havana 3am trio. Simonon's art has appeared in several galleries, most recently at the ICA in London, which housed his exploration of the British subculture in the post-war years in an individual show entitled Wot No Bike.
