On Monday, July 15 at 6pm, we suggest a guided visit behind closed doors of the exhibition Beauty of the Lines that we organize exclusively for Friends of Foto Colectania. It will be the director of Foto Colectania, Pepe Font de Mora, who will offer us a tour of the exhibition and will explain some of the keys to this collection.
The Beauty of the Lines, photographs from the Gilman and González-Falla Collection.
The exhibition presents a selection of masterpieces from the history of photography, part of the collection of Sondra Gilman and Celso Gonzalez-Falla. Based in New York, the collection includes more than 1,500 original photographs of some of the best photographers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Through visual confrontations, the visitor is invited to experience the power of the photographic line through these incomparable works. The works of Robert Adams, Walker Evans, Rineke Dijkstra, Man Ray, Berenice Abbott and Lee Friedlander, among others, beyond their historical temporality and geographical considerations, resonate by their formal correspondences.
At the end of the act we will offer a beer courtesy of:
