#DaidoMoriyamaADiary02

We continue to share new content from the Daido Moriyama exhibition. And what better way to do it than through his own words, a manifesto of how he understands photography and life...

“The photographs are pieces of an eternal world - daily life - and fossils of light and time. They are also fragments of presentiment, inspiration, registration and memory about human beings and their history, as well as another language and a world that becomes visible and intelligible when materializing reality through the camera.
They show us beauty and tenderness, but sometimes also ugliness and cruelty, not as an answer but always as a new question. I think the photographs are pieces of an incomplete puzzle. For this reason I have dedicated myself and always will dedicate myself to photography”. Daido Moriyama
